London Borough of Newham, Fife Council and Arun District Council are among the latest local authorities to place Self Service at the forefront of their customer contact centre plans for 2012. LB of Newham have made Self Service a corporate decision of choice and Belinda Black (Divisional Director - Customer Services and Revenues & Benefits), having successfully implemented the Self Service solution in her previous role at London Borough of Ealing, has decided to introduce the same benefits within Newham. Services scheduled to go live shortly are Revenues and Benefits, Environmental services, School Admissions and Parking services with further service areas planned for 2012. Fife council is the latest in a growing number of Scottish councils implementing the service, with a Revenues and Benefits service currently in development. As with the City of Edinburgh Council, they will be using a local corporate voice on their service. |
